Everything you need to know before ordering the LPWS2011 Variant 7 — build spec, lead times, coatings, ordering process, warranty, and more. If your question isn't here, reach out directly.
We don't compromise on parts or precision based on the variant number. The Variant 7 features the same match-grade machining and high-performance components found across our entire lineup. Same DNA, same reliability, same Legion Precision standard.
The base price covers a complete, match-ready build with your choice of premium configurations:
Option for a different single color on the grip is available. Optic not included.
To offer the Variant 7 at a competitive base price of $3,999.98, the optic is not included. This gives you the flexibility to run your preferred glass. You can purchase a premium optic directly through us at checkout, or provide your own — the choice is yours.
At Legion Precision, tool-less systems are inconsistent with our performance standards. More importantly, our signature flush-cut muzzle design is physically incompatible with a tool-less guide rod system. We refuse to compromise the clean, seamless look of our slides by having a reverse plug protruding past the muzzle. We build for performance and style — the tool-less rod achieves neither for our systems.
While 6–12 months is our official window, we intentionally pad this lead time to account for the specialized coating and finishing processes you select. We prioritize perfection over speed — but our goal is always to get your build into your hands well ahead of schedule.
Common finishes like Black DLC move quickly. Specialized coatings such as Rose Gold or CrN (Chromium Nitride) are processed in batches — and because these boutique colors are less common, they can extend the lead time. We coordinate with our coating partners months in advance to keep things moving, but for the fastest turnaround, common colors are your best bet.
Email us directly for current coating batch schedules and turnaround estimates on specific finishes.
If you need additional magazines beyond what is listed, or have a specific off-sheet request for your build, reach out via email. We are happy to accommodate custom additions to ensure your kit is mission-ready the moment it arrives.
We strive to ensure every customer gets exactly what they want and are willing to work with you on adjustments. However, we must keep changes to a minimum once an order is in the system. Frequent modifications increase the risk of errors and can sideline your build. If you need a change, contact us immediately and we will do our best to accommodate you.
For security and processing, we require your information on the order. We will never ship a firearm to a non-FFL holder. Simply list the name and contact information of the FFL you wish to use in the Order Notes field and we will coordinate the transfer from there.
Because our firearms are not currently on the California Roster of Certified Handguns, they can generally only be shipped to California for Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) or via specific exemptions such as the Single-Action Exemption. Before ordering, you must confirm with your local FFL that they are willing and able to accept the transfer.
Magazines will be blocked or swapped to 10-rounds to comply with California state law.
While we ensure the optic is mounted and torqued to spec, a factory zero is never a guarantee. Every shooter's vision and mechanics are different — what looks centered to us may not be for you. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm and fine-tune their zero before carrying for EDC or entering a competition.
All Legion Precision products are warrantied against manufacturing defects. This does not cover customer-induced issues. To maintain your coverage:
If you have a concern, reach out to us before sending anything in. We want to ensure your system is running perfectly and would rather handle the solution in-house to guarantee it's done right.
