We’ve been busy since January — three significant new products are now live, and our machining services are fully operational. Here’s the updated state of the shop.

What’s New in 2026

Three new products have dropped since the start of the year. Here’s the breakdown:

 

1. LPWS 2011 Island Barrel Build Kit

The Island Boy Build Kit is the most requested product we’ve ever launched. For the first time, you can get our competition-ready 9mm Island barrel platform in a DIY kit format — giving builders access to the same ported, precision-fit components that go into our full builds, without the full build price tag.

2. Kill Switch F-Series Trigger for DS1911/2011

The Kill Switch F-Series is our first LPWS-branded aftermarket trigger, and it’s built for the DS1911/2011 platform. If you’ve ever wanted the Legion touch on your existing pistol without a full custom build, this is where you start.

3. Chiraq DS1911/2011 Metal Grip System

The Chiraq Metal Grip System is a pre-order opportunity to get our signature Chiraq grip aesthetic in a dedicated DS1911/2011 metal grip configuration. Full machined metal. Full Legion fit and finish. Multiple variant options available.

The Island Boy Lineup: Where It Stands

The Island Boy platform continues to be our flagship. With the Variant 11 family now fully live, here’s the current lineup:

 

• Variant 11 — CrN & DLC (Government 5″)
• Variant 11.0 — All DLC (Government 5″)
• Variant 11.4 — CrN & DLC (Commander 4.25″)
• Variant 11.5 — CrN & Copper (Government 5″)

 

All Island Boy builds carry the 8-month lead time. The integrated comp and barrel timing require extra shop time to get right. It’s worth the wait.

 

Shop Services

Our machine shop is now open to outside work. Whether you have a polymer frame that needs an optic cut or an Atlas DS build kit you want finished at a master level, we can help.

 

• Perfect Zero Slide Machining & Porting — exclusively for Atlas 1911 DS Build Kits
• Optic Cuts — 7–10 day turnaround, includes single-color Cerakote
• PVD Upgrades — available with additional lead time and charge
