Trijicon offers a lifetime warranty on many of its optics — but only if you've registered your product. It takes five minutes and ensures you're covered if anything ever goes wrong. Here's exactly how to do it.
Section 01
Why It Matters
Why Register Your Trijicon Optic?
Trijicon is one of the most trusted names in precision optics. Their lifetime warranty is one of the best in the industry — but it only works for you if your product is on file. Registration takes minutes and pays off the moment you ever need support.
✦
Warranty Claims
Registration simplifies the entire warranty process. If your optic malfunctions or needs repair, Trijicon can instantly verify your ownership and get the process moving without delays.
✦
Product Updates
Trijicon occasionally releases firmware updates, maintenance advisories, or safety notifications. Registration ensures those communications reach you directly — not through a forum post you might miss.
✦
Better Support
Registered owners get faster, more personalized customer service. Trijicon can pull your product record immediately, reducing back-and-forth when you need help.
Section 02
Before You Start
What You'll Need
Have the following ready before you start the registration form. It goes faster if everything is in front of you.
Your Information
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
Product & Purchase Info
- Optic model number
- Serial number (printed on optic body)
- Date of purchase
- Dealer name and location
How to Register — Step by Step
-
01
Visit the Trijicon Website
Go to
trijicon.com — use the official site directly, not a third-party link.
-
02
Locate the Registration Page
Navigate to the Support or Customer Service section and look for Product Registration or Warranty Registration.
-
03
Fill Out the Registration Form
Enter your personal information, product details, and dealer information. All fields are typically required — have your serial number ready before you start.
-
04
Submit the Form
Review your entries and click Submit. Double-check your email address — this is how Trijicon will contact you for warranty and update communications.
-
05
Save Your Confirmation
Trijicon will send a confirmation email upon successful registration. Save it. Store it somewhere you can find it — this is your proof of registration if you ever need to file a warranty claim.
Tips for Registration
→
Register the Same Day You Receive It
The purchase date, serial number, and dealer info are all freshest right after unboxing. Don't wait — the longer you wait, the harder it is to track down dealer details.
→
Save a Physical and Digital Copy
Screenshot or print the confirmation email and keep it with your optic documentation. If your email account changes, you'll still have the record.
→
Check Your Spam Folder
Confirmation emails from product registration pages occasionally land in spam or promotions. Check those folders if you don't see the confirmation within a few minutes.
Section 05
What's Actually Covered
What Trijicon's Warranty Actually Covers
Trijicon's warranty is among the best in the industry — but it's not a blanket lifetime policy on every component. Knowing the distinctions matters, especially for red dot and electronic optic owners.
Lifetime Coverage
- Optical systems (lenses, glass)
- Structural housing and metal components
- Original owner only
Limited Coverage
- Electronic systems & components — 3 years from date of purchase
- Tritium lamps — 15 years (fiber optic) / 10 years (non-fiber optic) from manufacture date
- Replacement electronics installed by Trijicon — 3 years from installation
RMR & Red Dot Owners — Read This
If you're running a Trijicon RMR, SRO, or any electronic red dot, your electronic components are covered for 3 years only — not for life. The housing and optics are lifetime, but the electronics are not. Register promptly and keep your purchase date documented. Tritium dissipation over time is considered normal and is not covered under warranty.
Important Note
Registration procedures may vary slightly depending on your specific Trijicon optic model. Always refer to the official Trijicon warranty page or your product manual for the most current and complete warranty terms.
