LPWS “Kill Switch” F-Series trigger for DS1911/2011

$84.98

Precision-Engineered Exclusively for Cheely Custom Grips.

The Kill Switch isn’t just another 2011 trigger—it is a purpose-built ignition blade designed specifically for the high-performance geometry of Cheely Custom Gunworks metal grips and Miller Precision Grips. By combining Red Dirt USA’s patented tuning technology with the aggressive Void-Core aesthetic of LPWS, we’ve created a trigger that matches the world-class fit and finish of a Cheely/Miller Precision build.

The “Cold Break” Difference

Inside a Cheely/Miller Precision grip, every thousandth of an inch matters. The Kill Switch utilizes a CNC-milled 303 Stainless Steel bow designed to glide perfectly within the precision-machined Cheely/Miller Precision trigger tracks. This eliminates the “slop” and vertical play often found when trying to fit universal triggers into high-end metal grips. The result is our signature Cold Break: a snap so clean it feels like a mechanical “reset” for your nervous system.

F-Series Sizing Guide

To achieve a perfect 90-degree break on a Cheely grip/Miller Precision grips, you must select the correct “F-series” reach. Measure from the center of your grip’s front strap to the middle of your trigger finger’s first pad.

Model Size Finger Reach Measurement Application
F2 Small 2.75″ – 3.00″ Compact reach for smaller hands or high-grip shooters.
F3 Medium 3.00″ – 3.25″ The industry standard for most competitive shooters.
F4 Large 3.25″ – 3.50″ Increased leverage for those with larger palms.
F5 X-Large 3.50″ + Maximum reach for shooters with long digits.

Pro-Tip: Tuning for the Cheely Competition Setup

Because Cheely/Miller Precision grips offer such a precise interface, you can achieve a truly professional “Short-Reset” feel using our Speed Tuned (ST) system. Follow these steps for the ultimate competition feel:

  1. Drop-In Check: Ensure the bow moves freely in the Cheely grip/Miller Precision grip tracks without the sear spring installed.

  2. Pre-Travel Adjustment: With the hammer cocked and the safety ON, turn the front-facing hex screw clockwise. This pushes the bow back, removing “dead space” before you hit the wall.

  3. The Sweet Spot: Stop turning once the safety can no longer be engaged, then back the screw out 1/4 to 1/2 turn. This ensures the safety still functions while leaving you with the shortest pre-travel possible.

  4. Over-Travel: Use the internal screw to stop the trigger the millisecond the sear releases the hammer. This prevents “over-swing,” keeping your sights dead-on for follow-up shots.

Note to Builders: Cheely/Miller Precision grips are held to extremely tight tolerances. While this trigger is designed for a drop-in fit for most Cheely/Miller Precision grips, minor fitting may be required depending on your specific sear and hammer combination.
